Since we hired Staff Member #2 in 2020, after 14 years as a solo practitioner operation, our revenues have grown by 550%. Our only constraint to growth is enough skilled leadership to screen, onboard, and systematize new clients while training new staff to take over day-to-day roles. We have never spent $1 on advertising beyond our website, which was primarily built for recruitment purposes. We receive more new business referrals than we can accommodate. The old rule of thumb is, when you are turning away business, it’s time to grow.

Skill Set & Requirements
Your background should demonstrate clear competence in some of these topics and a willingness to learn the rest:
financial management: how to interpret the numbers for clients;
hands-on skill with QuickBooks;
familiarity with key issues around payroll and Human Resources (benefits management, wage and hour laws, hiring & firing, legalities); retirement plans
familiarity with relevant taxation issues: information returns (1099 series, 990 series, W- series) and taxability of benefits;
excellent communication skills internal and external; crisp attention to workflows; timeliness
project planning and execution expertise
supervisory experience
strong technical skills: Windows, office apps (MS, time tracking, task management, password management), payroll systems (ADP, Paychex)
credentialed tax preparer status (AFSP, EA, CPA) or other relevant creds a plus
valid work authorization for United States; Florida residence
